Mey Selections Rare Cask Series – Glen Ord 12 years old 51%abv 70cl

Introducing  cask strength, single malt Scotch whisky, aged for 12 years and matured in a first-fill European oak sherry butt. This exceptionally smooth and full-bodied single malt from the Glen Ord Distillery was distilled in April 2007 and bottled in July 2019. Non-chill filtered and entirely natural in colour, each of the 689 bottles yielded from this exceptional cask has been hand numbered.

Mey Selections, and bottle number one has been presented to the charity’s founder, King Charles III.

Tasting Notes

 • Nose: Fresh, fruity (white grape hints), aromatic spices, and a warm butterscotch note.

 • Palate: Well-rounded, with sweet vanilla, prunes, malted barley, and linseed oil.

 • Finish: Light spice leads to a smooth, lingering end.
