The European Goldfinch – marked out by the vibrant splash
of red on its head – makes its summer home in Scotland,
stripping feathery down from our native thistles to line its
nest. When winter falls, these distinctive little birds migrate
to the south of Spain, settling close to the sherry bodegas
that the whisky industry relies for its supply of richly casks.
The Goldfinch delivers excellent and classic sherry finished
single malt whisky.

This fresh and grassy 15-year-old single malt whisky from
Teaninich Distillery has been finished in an Oloroso sherry
cask. A wonderful Highland whisky. The spirit offers tropical
fruits, violets and vanilla and beautifully adopts the dried
spice notes from the Oloroso cask. Released at cask
strength, non-chill filtered and entirely natural in colour.
Only 363 bottles were taken from this outstanding cask.

Tasting Notes:
Nose ：Parma violets, light and grassy, wisps of vanilla and  butterscotch.

Palate：An initial explosion of fruit and dried dates, while pineapple mingles with scintillating spice and leather.

Finish：A smooth unwinding finish of malt, leather, vanilla, cereal and smooth nuttiness.
